The problem

The yard's data lives in five places at once

Quotes in one inbox, tickets on a clipboard, dispatch on the phone, and the books somewhere else. The gaps between them cost hours every day.

Paper tickets pile up

Scale tickets ride around on clipboards, get re-keyed after dark, and go missing in the cab of a truck.

The office is flying blind

Dispatch calls the scale house to ask what shipped, and owners wait until month-end to see where AR really stands.

Everything is entered twice

Every customer, invoice, and payment gets typed into the books a second time — along with the mismatches that follow.

How it works

One lifecycle, start to finish

Every step hands clean data to the next — so the same load you quote is the load you weigh, dispatch, and invoice.

1Quote

Build a material or mobile-crush quote. Customers accept and sign online.

2Job

Accepted quotes become jobs — pricing carries straight through.

3Dispatch

Assign trucks and track every load live, across every screen.

4Scale

Weigh in and out at the scale house — offline-ready, anomaly-checked.

5Invoice

Tickets roll into branded invoices, mirrored to QuickBooks.

What it does

Everything the yard runs on, in one place

Six connected modules — not six logins. Each one is built for the way a yard actually works.

Quotes & pricing
Quote faster, win cleaner.

Volume math, pricing floors, and approvals built in — and PDF-faithful quotes customers accept and sign online.

Dispatch board
Know where every load is.

A live job board where truck assignments and status changes propagate in real time, with no refresh.

Scale terminal
The scale house never stops.

Touch-first weigh-in / weigh-out with tare auto-fill, anomaly checks, and offline capture that syncs on reconnect.

Invoicing & QuickBooks
Bill the day it ships.

Scale tickets become branded invoices, and customers, items, and balances stay mirrored with QuickBooks — both ways.

CRM & lead radar
Call the job before it's let.

Track buyers and bids while a self-learning model ranks opportunities by how well they fit what your yard sells.

Reporting
See the yard at a glance.

Daily tonnage, sales, and AR rollups — plus a custom pivot builder, scheduled straight to your inbox.

Integrations

Keep your books where they are

Connect QuickBooks Online in a click. Customers, invoices, and payments stay mirrored both directions, tax is calculated by QuickBooks' own engine, and a “From QuickBooks” badge shows you the source of every record. You work in NexusYard; your accountant never notices the difference.

FAQ

Questions yards ask first

Does the scale house work without internet?
Yes. The scale terminal captures tickets offline and replays them to the database automatically when the connection returns — operators never stop weighing trucks.
Can my crew use it on a phone?
Yes. The dashboard and navigation are mobile-friendly, and the scale terminal uses large touch targets sized for gloved hands.
Do I have to leave QuickBooks?
No. NexusYard syncs both directions with QuickBooks Online — including its automated sales tax — so your books stay where they are.
How do we get started?
Book a demo. We'll walk through your operation and set up your organization — there's no self-serve signup, so accounts are created for your team by an administrator.
Is my data secure?
Operational data lives in a managed PostgreSQL database, OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest, access is role-based, and sensitive actions are audit-logged. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who is NexusYard for?
Independent aggregates, recycling, and materials yards — owner-run operations with one to a few sites. It's built for the crew that actually runs the yard, not a corporate ERP rollout, and it was built alongside a working Texas yard.
