Overview

NexusYard mirrors accounts-receivable into Trimble's Viewpoint Vista — the deep construction ERP — so invoices created from scale tickets land in Vista's AR, and payments and balances stay matched. The integration is built around Vista's batch-oriented, asynchronous processing so large posting runs are submitted and confirmed cleanly.

Best for
Established contractors and aggregate producers running Vista as their ERP who want yard operations to feed AR without a separate import step.

Reference data
Connects via Vista's REST API using an application key and subscriber code, with batch submit-and-poll for reliable asynchronous posting (Trimble App Xchange compatible).
Why NexusYard + Viewpoint Vista?

The field and the books, finally in sync

No more double entry

Every invoice you create in NexusYard appears in Viewpoint Vista automatically — the office stops re-keying the scale house after dark.

One set of numbers

Customers, invoices, and balances stay matched, so the yard and Viewpoint Vista never disagree about what shipped or what's owed.

Your books stay home

Viewpoint Vista remains your system of record. NexusYard meets it through its own API, so your accountant's workflow doesn't change.

Operations never block

If Viewpoint Vista is briefly unreachable, invoices still post in NexusYard and the sync retries — the scale house keeps weighing trucks.

How it works

Connect once, then forget it

1Connect

Provide your Vista application key and subscriber code; NexusYard authenticates and stores credentials encrypted.

2Map

Import customers and GL/job references from Vista and map them to NexusYard once.

3Submit

Invoices are submitted as Vista batches, then polled to completion — so a posting run either lands fully or reports back, never half-applied.

4Reconcile

Payments and balance changes in Vista reflect back into NexusYard's AR view.

FAQ

Viewpoint Vista integration questions

Is Vista on-premise a problem?
No. NexusYard talks to Vista through its REST API / App Xchange surface, so an on-prem or hosted Vista is reachable with the right application key and subscriber code.
How are large posting runs handled?
Vista is batch-oriented, so NexusYard submits invoices as a batch and polls the job to completion — you get a clean confirmation rather than a stream of partial writes.
Does it write to AP?
Today the Vista integration focuses on a two-way AR mirror. AP bill posting is on the roadmap; QuickBooks and Sage Intacct already handle AP if you need it now.
